i have both lightroom and aperture with all my photos currently in an aperture library and would like to move them to lightroom, does anybody know of an easy way to do this? what will happen to my keywords and versions i have made / edited? thanks

Different program so they don't really share anything. I doubt you can export settings from Aperture for import to LR. Keywords you may be able to store in the metatdata so when LR imports the file it can read the metatdata.

I have no direct information, as I haven't used Aperture. Out of curiosity, I did a good bit of searching, and this thread has the most complete information, and least amount of snarky "just don't do it" comments. ;)

It doesn't appear you'll be able to transparently move *everything* over the LR, but following the procedure described in the thread above, it sounds like you'll preserve most of your organizational information.
