...Oughta be interesting. Is there a lack of Spam in everyone's household?

If I didn't already enter the HC challenge and like my entry so much I might enter the Spam one just to get in the top 10. :P

Jessie.

It'll get higher as the challenge comes to a close. I predict no less than 50 entrants.

Darn, I was hoping for a top 20 finish.

I spent most of today trying to create my prop and haven't finished yet. It had better work or I'll be realllllllly ticked!

Working on mine now. This will be sure to compensate for my decent scores in the current challenges.

Can someone tell me or show me what would be a good example of shot for this challenge?

I the course of finding those sterling Spamâ„¢ examples, I also ran across this set of cartoons by a guy who invents scenes that are based on the subject line of spam he receives. The titles are the subject of the spam.

Wow, I went to buy a can of Spam yesterday. I sure won't be building any great walls or a recreation of Spamalot with it! Didn't it used to be the stuff you ate when you couldn't afford anything else? Maybe one step above cat food? I paid $4.59 for it!!

Did you know that half a can contains 99% of your day's sodium? I guess hypertension-in-a-can doesn't come cheaply these days.

I am certain my idea is quite original.

Which is my usual recipe for a low scoring entry.
06/30/2009 02:19:39 PM · #18
Mine's not, but it'll still bomb :)

Drat, we're up to 30 entries now. Maybe I can hope for a top 50 finish?

I'm in with a spamtastic entry that nobody will understand and as such will crash and burn but hey ho

This is going to be fun whatching this. Spam is my 2nd entry into these challenges and If I score a top 50 it would be great!!! lol. Well getting to know this site now and really beginning to like it. Anybody have a cure for this type of addiction? Good luck to all those who are spamming the spam challenge.

There is no cure. It is like crack, but not illegal. Most of us get just enough high scores to keep us coming back. Broad appeal is a hard thing to always hit.

$1.69 US for the Walmart store brand, which judging from the identical can, comes from the same factory.
