Hmm...as stated, without models or suitable subjects (as in, 'Pinup' implies some sort of universal appeal or attraction/lure) it is a very limited challenge. Sure, I could photograph my wife, who is beautiful to me, but as a pinup? She would be trashed by this crowd.

Hey, I wouldn't be in this challenge either, but we have occasionally had challenges before that had some limits on who had the ability to participate. We do have a lot of people that like to do that sort of photography, and you never know, you might have an aspiring model in the neighborhood, who needs the exposure. I was reading the bickering in the MJ challenge discussion and this idea occurred to me.

Oh, yes, and a few members who could be their own model. No reason you can't have a male pinup either, I suppose. (But you won't to see me in a speedo!)

Can we do this challenge soon though? I have a model scheduled to shoot on friday and it would be a good time to do this....come on...I was already screwed in the Glamour challenge.

Love this idea!!!!

And to honour Farrah, what a perfect way to do it.

I was going to do a pinup shoot a while ago but cancelled it due to lack of funds (not going to mention my lackof talent!) So I have some shots already planned in my head and some models that would be up for it!

I wouldnt ribbon but I love this style of photography and would enjoy all the entries (oh, that sounds pervy and its really not sposed to!)

*still half-asleep* Huh? What? Me and Blue ribbon in the same sentence?... Did I get soemthing for this?

Oh a suggestion for a pinup challenge! HA! I've already got you all beat! I've been doing *ahem* private pinup shots for someone special for the last few weeks...and it's actually a lot of fun, if lot of work...

But you'll have to content yourselves with what's in my portfolio, though maybe I'll reshoot some if this goes through...;-)
