The new "Crossroads", Jason Aldean and Brian Adams on CMT. Not bad. Cool show series, links country and rock. Robert Plant & Alison Kraus , Pat Benetar & Martina McBride...etc. Kinda bridge-building.

Gilberto Gil - SÃtio do Pica Pau Amarelo (Yellow Woodpecker Farm) - This is a theme of one novel for children written by Monteiro Lobato.
Cassia Eller - Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band (The Beatles) - I really want to know what do you think about this... |

As a Beatles fan, my first thoughts where thumbs down, but I finished listening, then re listened. In a club I probably would have enjoyed it, and applauded. |

EH.... I think I am too much a lover of the more traditional Beatles stuff, but it might grow on me. :~) Thanks for sharing. |

For anyone who hasn't discovered it yet (I think only in the US, maybe Canada) Pandora is pretty darn fabulous. I crank it up and I can hear it all over my house. |

Yeah, I'm in Ireland and I get this message;
We are deeply, deeply sorry to say that due to licensing constraints, we can no longer allow access to Pandora for listeners located outside of the U.S. We will continue to work diligently to realize the vision of a truly global Pandora, but for the time being we are required to restrict its use. We are very sad to have to do this, but there is no other alternative. |

Photos are my second hobby. My first one is music. I really like to hear music and also to play it (Essentially drums, and sometimes acoustic guitar).
I wanted to share Cassia Eller´s version of Beatles because i think its a really different approach, with some kind of brazilian sauce (some more syncopated rythm and some mess on the background)... I think Cassia Eller was a great artist, and unfortunately she died some years ago (from a heart attack - with some especulation about OD)
For those who enjoyed, two more suggestions:
Cassia Eller - Quando a Maré Encher (Chico Science) Pretty intense rythm (as the major part of chico science work - who lauched the ¨mangue beat¨ movement on the brazilian music)
Cassia Eller - Todo Amor que Houver Nessa Vida (Cazuza) - A more Bluesy mood... (cazuza was a great rock brazilian composer... if you find some translation to this lyrics would be nice). |

jotaga - I kinda like the old standard Try A Little Tenderness by Cassia Eller. Funny cause some people think Three Dog Night was the original. LOL |
