Missed this one.. incredible shot - love the way the shock has parted the clouds. Awesome power.

I subscribe to their weekly email -- almost always some interesting image of our little planet ...

I decided it needed some cropping to the rule of thirds and a hit of topaz for proper impact :-) Enjoy!

Hate to tell you Robt. but they took that with a Nikon and a 400mm lens (maybe that's why it needed just a "touch" of PP, eh?).

That explains that :-) Actually, though, the SECOND link you posted looks like they used a bit of PP on it, as compared to the first one....

On further examination, the second link is the same image, rotated 180 degrees, cropped, and post-processed to bring out detail, LOL.

Probably shot in RAW and no PP cuz they wanted to post it so fast!

We should be seeing even more and better shots when the ISS truly becomes a room with a view.
