Learn to Light Workshop
Chicago, June 27-28
I took it earlier this year in Seattle, will take it again in August (it is That Good!)
and the price for two full days of shooting with lighting, models, makeup artists and stylists is hard to beat. |

And my lease on the apartment isn't effective until the 1st of July! Noooooo. |

| Also, question: I can have 1 of the AB's wired into my PC-connection and have the other wired as a slave to the master, right? Because I'm boned if you can't. |

Well for now it's just gonna be the strobes and some stands I rig together because I'm officially broke... Being a college student and all.
But I plan on it! |

With all the extras included, this seem like a workshop that is well worth the price of admission. Too bad there's no events around here. |

This is the best place to Learn How to Light I'd start with lighting 101.
Best of luck, |

Sort of, but you don't need any wire for the second light because they have a built-in optical slave trigger. IOW the slaved strobe will fire when it 'sees' the light from the first strobe.

Right... you plug one light into your camera or a shoe-mounted wireless remote, and the flash of that one will trigger all the others. The wireless trigger will give you more freedom, and reliably fire the others in tricky situations (bright ambient light, for example). |
