I have a friend that just ordered a couple of days ago. I told him I was interested in how it works out when he gets it. Too bad it won't work with the V2s receivers though, I have several of them.

| I've only tried a few test shots and they seem to work just fine. Not sure where to find the battery that goes in the transmitter so hope it has a pretty good lifespan. Did not use the AAAs that came with the receiver - had read somewhere they're not reliable - stuck some Energizers in there instead. Everything fits well - transmitter on camera hotshoe, flash on receiver hotshoe. I didn't have any earlier versions so can't compare with those. |

Phil - Is this going to work on your DSLR?
From the Spec / Transmitter section (bold added for emphasis): "Compatible to all cameras with standard ISO hot shoe or PC sync output". |

I think these will work in combo for KM/Sony flash and Cactus triggers...
GI FS-1200 knockoff - for receiver.
GI FS-1100 knockoff - for transmitter.
I think I got that right. ??? |

Phil, it can get a little mind boggling! Sony uses a proprietary hotshoe that isn't standard to the industry (the one pet peeve I have with this brand). You may want to read, and/or ask questions, at this dedicated Sony/Minolta site: Dyxum.com. Here's one of several threads that came up when I searched on "Cactus wireless". |
