I have a Nikon D200, it is several years old and I take extremely good care of it, same goes for my lenses. A few days ago some of my lenses stopped autofocusing (Nikkor 50mm 1.8, Tamron 28-75mm 12.8, and Sigma 70-300mm 4-5.6). My Nikkor 18-70mm 3.5-4.5 and Sigma 10-20mm 4-5.6 still work fine and focus very quickly and quietly. It doesn't make sense to me that motors on 3 separate lenses would go bad simultaneously, but it also doesn't make sense that if the camera is malfunctioning 2 lenses would work fine while 3 others wont focus at all.
I did not drop anything and as far as I can tell autofocus is the only thing malfunctioning.
Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks.
ETA: When I try to autofocus on the "bad lenses" the motor is loud, but the focus ring doesn't move at all.

I may guess there is a problem with your focus motor in your camera because I believe that the three lenses you listed as not working, do not have their own motors. They rely on a screw from the camera to run the autofocus. The other two lenses, Nikon 18-70 and Sigma 10-20 have their own motors. It was first thought. I am sure others will chime in. :) |

Any idea how much such a repair would cost? My warranty ran out 12 days ago. |
