Howdy,

Does anyone know of a website where I can search for abandoned buildings by US State?

Cheers in advance!

You'd probably have some luck researching into urban spelunking or infiltration. It's got a bunch of other names too. It's the hobby of getting into and exploring abandoned (but not always) property and what not.

ETA: bit too slow.........

Oh. Well, you should be able find some stuff there, to be honest. It might not be the big industrial type buildings that are relished by urban explorers, however.
Check out Ghostowns. There's gotta be a good number of abandoned buildings out there it's so open. Colorado is the same way.
What sort of things are you looking for, building wise?

anything with peely paint walls, overgrown stuff, broken windows. That kinda thing.

I think what I'm looking for is a bit too industrial for MT though which is gonna be broken down barns and ranch type stuff. I guess once I'm there I can just explore but I don't have high hopes.

Yeah, it sounds like you're looking more for urban buildings. But honestly, here in Colorado, if you look around out on the plains a bit you'll find random abandoned houses and buildings. Little cities that just sorta went away.
You should be able to find some old mining town stuff too, in addition to ranches. Not sure if that's what you're looking for but it's there.
