... the splotches on her hair in this picture.
They are caused by raindrops out of focus in the shot. I have tried burning them, cloning them, colouring them... nothing seems to look right :(.

Those won't be easy to fix. Did you try the heal tool in Photoshop?

Very quick edit (literally 3 mins or so as dinner is ready LOL) anyway healing brush used with Gfx tablet to flow with the hair direction, then a softlight layer painting in to lighten and darken as required... Rough and ready here but I am sure with a 15 minute edit it could be practically perfect. |

I did a real quick one too. Only used dodge/burn and one clone for the really apparent drop.

Patch tool in CS4 works perfectly.

Thanks a lot guys, I guess I got a little impatient with my edit, it was getting late...
I'll probably use a combination of all these techniques to get it fixed up! |
