I need to get software where I can mass edit batches. I am leaning toward two right now and would like to hear from people who use them. The two I am leaning towards is ACDSee Pro and Adobe Lightroom II. Any input would be great. Especially from someone who has used both. Any other software suggestions and why would be great too. My two requirements are RAW conversion and batch editing. I need to reduce my event photo processing time.

Hmm. I have never heard any complaints about either of the two you have mentioned. What software do you use now? You may want to choose the one with a interface that is close to what you use now. Or not. I would prob vote for Adobe but only because I have never used ACDsee. See what the others have to say.

I'll preface this by saying that I have no experience at all with ACDSEE's recent versions. I used in long ago. Lightroom I use on a regular basis. If your hardware is up to it, it is the way to go, IMO. It will run on almost any machine, but it can be dog slow if you don't have enough memory & processing power, particularly when dealing with large RAW files.
