Sounds like a fair number of folks are in town on Saturday. I'm tied up during the day on Saturday, but I'm sure I could sneak away in the early evening. So if some of you wanted to meet up after Steamtown, that could work. There are several more parks in the area, all less intense to hike than Ricketts.

One week away. Where are we on necessities? I had signed up for cups and plates, but I see later in the thread that Jeb is planning on bringing some of that stuff. Is there something else that I can bring? I'm coming from 3 hours away and spending the night, I have no way of keeping burgers or other temperature-sensitive foods safe.
I made reservations at the Central Park Hotel in Benton. So I'll be up there sometime late Saturday afternoon.
Steamtown in Scranton seems interesting, but it looks like it would add another 45 minutes onto my initial trip and then another hour back to Benton.
I wouldn't mind getting some of the waterfall shots a little later in the evening Saturday once the sun starts to head down. Maybe the ones closer to the top of the trail so we wouldn't have too far to walk out in the fading light. |

| It looks like I'm going to be able to attend. If you still need burgers, I can probably bring some. I'm coming from about 2.5 hours away, but I think they'd be ok in a cooler with some ice. About how many do you think we'd need? |

I may have 4+ people coming with me. Let me know what I can bring that does not need to be frozen. Better yet make a list of what we are short on and I'll see what I can take from that list. |

| Wow. Its amazing how much life can change in 3 months. It seems a lifetime ago... Due to circumstances, I will not be able to attend, though I think it would be a very cool trip. And I would love to meet everyone there I haven't yet met and see again the ones I have, but I can't make it. I will keep watching and maybe I can try to make the next one. Have a great time!! |

According to their website - room 2 is usually the "day rate" room. Whatever you do, don't lay on top of the bedspread ;-). |

Garbage bags would be helpful, and judging from the list I'm thinking either side dishes or other desserts would be good to bring along. Maybe an extra beverage, since just one person has mentioned bringing drinks so far. I don't think one person would need to have the burden of bringing ALL drinks.

I am bringing the grille again, right???
I don't see it listed.
I will also bring trash bags as I have a big box of them and have a dumpster here so I don't use them much.
I have plenty of cups, and some paper plates.
