		| I think it means putting a photo in a challenge that does not quite fit, but maybe lind of does.  As in you use a shoe horn to put those shoes on that just does not quite fit. |

		| In DPChallenge terms it means a photo that has, at best, only a tenuous link to the challenge topic.  To be a true shoe horn the photo would not be taken with the challenge in mind, but entered anyway, often with a title that provides the link.  Not analogous to an Out of the Box (OOB) entry, although the two are often confused. |

 ... and that one person's "shoehorn" is often another person's "creative interpretation" of the topic. |

 it is a challenge itself to shoehorn an image into a challenge :P |
