There's been a slack off in the voting..(I'm guilty) .. we used to get 200-300 voters per challenge back in the day. This stat is supposed to get higher..not lower. Everyone Pretend like Obama is running for president again, and get your ass in there and vote for your favorites. I'm headed to vote on rocks right now.
Sincerely,
The Voting Police |

Arggg...I have chiggers from hiking through the woods yesterday, can't stop itching!! It's like having 100 mesquito bites on your legs that itch forever! Last time I got em..they lasted for 2 weeks. |

Being new to this I was holding off on the voting since I don't yet feel that qualified (118th out 119 for my first entry friends and the second ain't looking too hot).
I guess I should start on the next challenges .... |

All you are doing is expressing your opinion of the photos as they relate to the challenge topic -- there are no "wrong" answers to that question. Just apply your voting scale consistently to all the pictures and you'll be as qualified as anyone else. |

You'll learn alot by seeing other ideas.. and just looking at images..many many images. Also, voting helps u decide what you like and don't like. |

Oh yeah, and by commenting you will learn how to recognize what elements/qualities of the photo either work or don't work for you, and thus be better prepared to make your own images.
People here are always wanting comments on their photos, but you'll learn far more from those you make than those you receive. |

They imbed into your skin where the hairs exit your skin, then they set a stinger which releases a toxin that causes the itch. They are microscopic.. you can't see them with your eyes, and you can't feel them on you. So you never know they are there until the next day when the bite starts to itch. From what I understand, you can spray bug spray on your legs before you go out..and it will keep them off. (I was wearing pants and boots..it doesn't make any difference..they find their way in) |

Just add to the good advice. You will get more out of commenting on the entries you give 4's and 5's to. The really poor ones and the really fantastic ones are easy to identify why you do or don't think it is good. Commenting on the mediocre entries will make you think about how it all works together and why it is ok but does not grab you at all. Plus, believe it or not, most people here will actually appreciate some polite feedback that lets them know why their masterpiece is bombing. |
