and they have added a photoshop plugin to the Studio version... first impressions are the interface is far slicker - and the adjustments are a lot faster. The new `clearskin` technology works great as well.

I gave up on POrtrait Professional when I found Imagenomic's Portraiture plugin. It does a better job of skin than PP in my experience. You might want to 'obtain' it.

Portrait Professional, filters, add-ons, etc... Some day I'm going to have to explore all the various PP products out there. The only thing I'm familiar with is my outdated Paint Shop Pro. I can use Photoshop at work, but I can't really devote the time there that I need. Thanks for the links.

Wow. I downloaded the trial version of Portrait Professional last night and have been playing with it. The results are remarkable. It really delivers great results in a fraction of the time it takes me free-form.
Now I have to decide if I can justify purchasing it. |

When did version 8 come out? I'm pretty sure it wasn't that long ago when I upgraded from 7 to 8 for $40. Now they want me to upgrade again for another $40. On top of the fact I bought 7 I think about six months before I had to upgrade to 8. I think I'll just stick to the version I have for a while.
