Oh my Deb,
I thought you'd made sure it was going to be rain-free.
I tend to get quite warm so I don't mind a light misting rain ... I am fully aware that I am in the severe minority though.
Hope you've dried off!

It wasn't too bad. Chilly, but not unbearably so. I had a light jacket in my backpack - not waterproof but it does cut the wind. And the whole rain/cold thing made me go a little faster to generate heat! So I made it back fairly quickly, considering. Shoes should be dry by tomorrow.
I did discover and interesting phenomenon - I wear those glasses that change with the light (photosensitive) and in the rain that change becomes rain-dropped because of the refraction caused by the drops. It was really kinda interesting! |

um, hi guys. i know yospiff has joked about this before, but i need a bit of help. i need to change my username, as i am no longer JDubs girl. any ideas besides snaffly jr? :)
i was thinking Katherine_with_a_K, but im not sure i want to type that out every time i log in, or if its too long |

Go for something unique, but not dependent on something that could change....(Says he who is locked into a specific make of camera)....so you don't find yourself in this predicament again.....LadyKatherine.....8>) |

I didn't know I'd be stuck with vawendy when I started. It's just my email address. Let me know how the change goes--I figure too many people know me as this, so that I'm stuck forever. But if it works for you... |

| A friend of mine actually calls me lady k, so maybe ill go with that or some variation. JDubsgirl lasted for two years. I guess all things change |

That, and it's a similar construct to mine, and also that I used to (a long time ago) hang out with folks from the Society for Creative Anachronism, so the "Lady something" seemed pretty natural-sounding.
We'll have to see if I pick up any more ... ;-) |
