Hello,

We are planning a Yellowstone trip in July and are wondering where is the best place to rent Canon Lenses from?

I've tried both //www.borrowlenses.com(located on the west coast) and //www.lensprotogo.com (on the east coast). Both offer great service. I slightly prefer LensProToGo, also located on the east coast I get the items faster and I like the pelican cases the lenses came in. You can't go wrong with either service and the availability of lenses and variety of them is really good.

Also wanted to add this link //www.lensrentals.com . I haven't ordered from that site yet but I like the variety of different bodies they have, Sony, Panasonic, Olympus and some Canon IR converted bodies.

Julie,

I made that trip a year ago and was very sorry that I didnt rent a very long telephoto. The guy on the tripod next to me let me hook up my body to his 600 - what a difference it was compared to my 70-200 w/ 1.4 tele. We were shooting wolves feasting on a bison carcass from across a river and you either have the reach or you don't. If you can afford it, rent a 500 or 600 for your trip.

There's also NVPhoto. He has a rental company as well. He tends to have specials for DPC people too, so might be worth checking out. Company Website
