Sounds like fun - I'd like to see what the new Rebel T1i / 500D will do. According to the manual, it is supposed to be capable of 12800 |

I've started experimenting early... This may be a bit challenging! I'm thinking most of my images will go black and white. |

ditto. converting to b&w may be the best way to put use to the gritty quality most cameras will produce on high iso's...unless you own a d3(x) or 5dmkII/1dsmkIII...;) |

If you want "true grit" try copying just the Blue Channel to a new grayscale image ...:-)
