I recently got asked by some actresses here in Korea to make profile shots for them. Well, yesterday was the day, and my first shoot ever in a studio, ha ha! They paid for the studio in return for the pictures, which was a bonus! Anyways, I have three girls, and I'm processing them in order of urgency. So, sorry, I've only got one for you guys to look at.
I'm wondering if there's anything you might improve about the processing of the shots. The crops are deliberately wide to keep the images multipurpose.

I think they look fabulous! Have you considered a little topaz to pop them out a tad?
This is the beauty detailed preset at about 60%.
This is style 300 at 70%.

Hi shalrath
I'm not sure what I can possible offer other then praise.
I think these are wonderful.
Your lighting is very good and I also like your models. I like what Kelli did with topaz. Printed glossy these are going to make really nice, professional head shots. |

I think a bit of skin smoothing on some of the shots with raking light would help smooth over minor flaws. It doesn't look like the catch lights were quite bright enough, so in some shots her eyes lack the twinkle that is present in some of the more straight on lit shots. You can always cheat a bit and add those highlights and dodge out the eyes. |

Thanks everyone.
The Topaz shots look cool, but they're not quite what I'm aiming for with these.
I will work on the skin and catchlights a little more, though. |

I just adjusted the basics and then ran the Cool as a Cucumber action from Totally Rad Actions to adjust the white balance. I feel like they were kinda too warm.
The lighting and composition on these shots are really fantastic. I'm sure she'll be thrilled! Great work. |

Awesome shots! The lighting was nicely done. How you framed the models is superb. I can actually imagine some of these shots being seen in billboards. Great job!
Cheers!
