I would guess very interesting, whether the same reaction or not. Thanks for the detailed post!

But apparently a feeling she needed surgical enhancement to compete ... :-(

Ok....WITHOUT asking Google or any other website....what is the first and last name of the girl who won the pagent? or...can you even tell me the state the pagent winner is from ?

I know this is a moot question b/c if answered correctly, one will never know if you googled for the answer.

Are we being a little dramatic here? What have they done to DESTROY her? And when did she become a huge star? I missed that memo. Is she now bigger than Sanjaya?

I don't know. Until I heard about Prejean I thought all of the contestants were named Barbie.

if I cut through the bulls#&*....
fact 1) she has to state on the application that there were no nude/semi nude photos of her....(the pagaent would have helped keeping them from surfacing if she had been honest) "She checked NO"

fact 2) she didn't win Miss USA, "blames it on her response to gay marriage...."

fact 3) some pictures surfaced (refer to fact 1)....and she "blames wardrobe malfaction"......she is "standing on a windy cliff" barely clad, and she doesn't hold on to her top while she plays with her hair....and some "unscruprilous photographer was shooting...."

simple blame game here.....

Fact - The question asked was purely political. If you're a liberal, your answer is "correct" and you get more points from the judge and win. If you're not a liberal, your answer is "incorrect", the judge throws a tantrum and you lose. Then when the public praises you for having a backbone and integrity and not giving the obvious answer to win, liberals who disapprove of your opinion search for mud to sling at you.

ok...BUT did she pose for pictures?? accident or not....and did she say she did not have any pictures around....UMMM FACT-yes...

I don't care about all the other stuff....but if she had been honest on her application there would not be mud to sling....

Her interview on NBC was quite funny...they asked her if there were going to be any other pics surfacing...and she said "I can't tell, if someone takes a picture of me in my dressing room, I can't say there won't be any"....well, the pictures that have surfaced were not taken through a window into her dressing room.

Of which, the ones I have seen, are not bad pictures....other than the one 'accident' one...

is posing for nude or half nude is so bad.
You make it sound like posing for a topless is one of the worst sins she could have done.
just asking this because i see lots of nudes here at dpc of self or of their spouses. Meaning are all these people doing something really bad.
just a thought.

nope....I see nothing wrong with the photos....or posing for the photos... NOTHING....
What I do see wrong is blatingly lying on the application saying you never posed for anything of the sort....and then when the photos surface, blame it on an answer to a question....instead of the fact that you broke a rule of the pageant.

I'm trying to be very simple in the actual events...NOT whether she is for or against gay marriage...

The issue is not that she may have posed nude for photos, but that she may have lied when she said she hadn't. The pageant has certain rules regarding the conducts of contestants and some have argued that she violated some of these... that is the issue at hand.

As we learned from President Nixon, it's not the crime, it's the cover-up (pun intended). The point is not the content of the pictures, but that she lied about them on her application.

Thanks Ray and GeneralE.....you get the same point as I do

i haven't seen the photos. Are there any photos those classify as nudes. If there are none than she did not lie.
My guess is her photos are racey but not nudes.

Edit to add:

I did little google and come up with this:

//yeeeah.com/2009/05/06/miss-california-carrie-prejean-naked-pictures-hit-the-web/

I personally would not call it nude.
