I'm new to the site but not to uploading pictures - can't seem to figure out why the ones I've uploaded to my portfolio don't get larger when I click on the thumbnails as happens in other people's portfolios... any help I can get on this would be appreciated. :)

They do for me :)
Is there a link on the left that says 'View Photo Page' if so try clicking that.

Hi Carla, and welcome!
Click on the link in the left frame that sez "browse portfolio" or if you're in a particular collection, "browse collection". For inividual photos you will see a link "view photo page".
