I was thinking about trying something like what David Hockney does- a bunch of different pictures of a chair taken from different angles which makes it look abstract but I don't think I could do that with a single image. Maybe multiple exposure? Would be tricky. Perhaps just a self portrait of me on the sofa. Think anyone will try to do the old Memorex shot again?

Well, you asked if I knew about it or searched, and I knew about it. Hey, it's certainly not something I'd even THINK to search for! lol
But a a simple Google of furniture porn led me riiiiiight to it, of course :)

Your image is priceless. While I'm not saying that nobody will live up to it, it is definitely one to aspire to.
