It̢۪s an odd celebration, actually. People are supposed to celebrate the end of dictatorship (35 years ago) and the fact that we are now a democracy and a free country. But unions and minority groups take the opportunity to march and shout against the government and the leaders in charge, no matter which party is in power. Anyway, it̢۪s a peaceful event. I believe you would like to see it ;)

Hugo, I really like the way you've highlighted the red in those shots to tie them together and to the revolution. Very nicely done!

Definitely my kind of shot - from Raish in the Candid challenge. Wonderful composition and lots to see and enjoy, yet not at all "too busy". Also note that the guy in the center just to the left looks an awful lot like Hugh Jackman in the poster behind him.... very cool shot. Figured you guys might like it.

Cheers Hugo...Yes, I would like I commented for a second i thought it was Athens. From what you say the day of memorial has a very similar vibe. Coincidentally the Junta fell in Greece 35 years ago also.

I really liked Raish photo as well...cool how you can't see the shooter...

Some more from me, I have some colour ones but I'm thinking of using one of those for the free study so not posting them just yet!
