Edit to add: Any topaz software is fine: Adjust, Simplify, or Vivacity. Here is a link to the software page and I think there are free 30 day trial downloads: Topaz Labs

This is open for the month of May, try and post at least 15 photos, and photos can be new or old. Just use Adjust to see what you can do with them.

To see what those outside of DPC have done with the software, you can see this Flickr group.

LOL... I may be the most unrepentant Topaz user here right now, so I guess I ought to play, and probably will, especially since you welcome old images...

Great idea! But I don't have Topaz Adjust. Would you consider not restricting it to Topaz Adjust users, and just making it processed images, using whatever programs people have.

I'll play. The fix they came out with finally keeps it from crashing Photoshop. And I'm somewhat addicted to a couple of the presets. I could learn to use it a bit better. :-)

They have a 30 day free trial, if you download on May 1st you'd be good for the month. LOL!

So what do you use? I want to keep the focus on one type of processing or else we'll have stuff all over the place lol. Do you use Lucis Art or some other HDR software? I think I'd like to keep it to that type of stuff so we can see some funky photos :)

....just Photoshop, and the HDR in that is pretty crap, from the few times I've experimented with it. I don't actually have any other programs.

I use clarify a lot, which is very similar, but without as much control. I had trouble getting the beta of Topaz to activate, I'll try it again with the release. Maybe while I have the 30 day trial they will make me a nice offer for a discounted purchase.

Sign me up.

What she said. IMO everyone ought to use Topaz for the month, since the free trial is full-featured. See what it does for you!

Sure why not? I'd love to see how that works. I updated the original post to include all those.

Trying to figure out a way to include Brat... so we have one suggestion of the free download, anything else?

Count me in. I don't know how many I'll be able to get but I'll do my best.

I really do love this software. For anyone who isn't sure about it, here is an example of what it can do for your pictures:

It's just my opinion, but I really feel this is most useful and interesting if it's purely Topaz. Hopefully, Brat can use the free trial...

I've just recently got a new computer, and I am having a few problems with it crashing, so I am still trying to sort out some of those issues. Seems to be a bit of internal conflict between a couple of programs, so I'm a bit reluctant to download anything at the moment. LOL! But if I can get it sorted soon, I'll probably go with the free trial version. Thanks guys!

I took this one:

and I ran it through Topaz Denoise to get rid of the extreme noise, then through Topaz Adjust/Spicify with some custom adjustments, and got this:

For what that's worth...
