Hey Joe. While I think this is a nice start... for a portfolio you need a bit more variety. Perhaps some different hair looks (as not everyone will be "into" the spikes). Maybe a couple of business-type shots in a suit, etc. I would probably lose the one against the fence, its a little mugshot-ish. :)

He has the exact same expression of eyes and mouth in every single shot, which is a Very Bad Thing for a modeling portfolio...

I agree with idnic and Bear-music. Thos e a great pictures, but you need (or he needs, depending on how you look at it) some diversities. Sifferents facial expression, different mood, style, etc.

People who will hire him will need him to look the way THEY want, so he must show that he can adopt any style might be required.

But concerning the pictures only, they are beautiful

Hey Joe
Like those pics, but I am with the others. There needs to be more variety in them. Chris is wearing a Singlet in most of them, and then a casual top. Something more formal (Suit) would be great, and even in a casual shirt. Different outfits to show the different roles that he is able to adapt to, from summer beach to formal business.

He does need to show more variety in the expression. Where is the photo of him laughing, broad smile etc. His shots (including the ones in your portfolio) all have a similar look. Even 101E, it doesn't look sharp, but at least there is a slightly different look there.

I also agree, even for just a couple of shots, a different hairstyle also shows variety. Mix it up a bit, and have fun while trying different things.
