Is the D80/90 supposed to have multiple exposure processing for HDR? If so does it do a decent job?

You mean exposure bracketing? I'd have to say yes, I think most modern DSLRs will let you exposure bracket a scene. Whether or not Nikon does a decent job of it, all I can say is "probably". :-)

I don't believe they "process" multi-exposure HDR images in-camera, no. As David said, you do have the capability to do automatic exposure bracketing, which gives you the raw exposures you need to process HDR on your computer.

No! I meant does it actually merge the bracketed images in camera and process HDR in camera?
