I have been trying to learn HDR. I am using photomatix to merge the photo's. Nothing special in this photo. I just set the tripod out my front door and took a few shot. The first thing I noticed about this shot was the blurriness of the wheel and the horse on the front of the car. I suspect this is from the slight movement of my camera when taking multiple exposures. I need to first figure out a way to get my tripod more stable I guess. I used 9 shots to make this photo then brought it into PS and adjusted curves, levels, and selective coloring (blue). I know I already asked for one critique today but if you can find it in your heart to help a needy person again I would definitely appreciate it. I will probably attempt to put an HDR image in the April challenge and see how well it does.
So enough with the stalling...here's the photo!

Came out good. If you would have been in a park or different setting it would be really nice.
I don't see any blur.

You don't need 9 exposures for that shot, anyway. The brightest exposure you need is the one that makes your shadows right, and the darkest exposure would be the one that works for your bright areas. The only way you need 9 there is if you're exposing in 1/3 stop increments or something, which I doubt you needed to do here.
As for your slight blur issues, might be that you were chyanging aperture instead of shutter speed to make the different exposures, and the DOF is shifting accordingly. Make your HDR merge images with a constant aperture and vary the shutter speed to avoid that problem.

I had the camera set to manual. I set the apeture and adjusted the shutter speed for this. The reason I did nine was because I am still trying to learn what setting are best for what light. Still fairly new to this DSLR stuff. Do you think I would have a little less blur also if I used fewer shots? |

I was just about to sent you a PM about the thread but I see you found it all on your own.
Look closely at the wheel. It's pretty distorted. I guess distorted is the word to use rather than blurred. It would appear that I moved the camera in one or more of the shots and it distorted the wheel. I think? |

Now that you point it out...the tire is slightly blurred on top left. However, nothing drastic.
Less photos = less chance to "move" during one of the shots.
