Can anyone guess what it is?

huh, huh?

It's hard to clean. (think of Hoya HMC hard to clean) Errr!
my advice, get a filter form the start.

yeah yeah, I know what you're thinking... "Who puts a cheap filter on such expensive glass"...

Ummm, well, you don't use a cheap filter. Use something like Hoya HD, B+w, or a nikon NC. Duh.

This is not advised to be honest because you could scratch your nice new plates.

Obviously matt has not thought this through. If you gather up enough of them, say 50-60, you could sell them on ebay to buy a canon lens.

Ahahahahah. Good one. One correction though: if you gather up 50-60 of Nikon lenses, you could buy the whole Canon lineup.. direct from factory.. with 100 year warranty. Think about what 50-60 Nikkor 70-200 2.8 will fetch you. Lol!

Nikon; ED= Extra Dollars
Canon: L = Ludicrous

It's those doggone sensors that I have a problem with now, since I have my new lens cleaner.
