The other day I was quite chuffed when I managed a passably not-blurred photo with 1/2s shutter speed handheld. So I thought this might make for an interesting side challenge.
Rules:
1. Post a photo that doesn't looked blurred when sized for 720 pixels longest side.
2. Camera must be handheld - no tripod, monopod, putting it on a table etc. Don't cheat, I'll check the EXIF!
3. IS/OS/VR must be switched off.
4. Calculate and post your super steadyshot score: focal lenth x crop factor x shutter speed.
No date limits, and the photo needs no artistic merit (so I can participate!).
Here's mine:
SSS = 11mm x 1.6 x 1/2 = 8.8

Hey gys,
I'm game for this but a total technical nincompoop. So I've uploaded the image, and a screenshot of the EXIFF data, to see if you can help me work out the SSS score :-)

Your EXIF info gives the full-frame equivalent focal length which is the same as focal length times crop factor in my SSS formula.
So your SSS is 1.27 s x 35 mm = 44.45 - incredible! To keep the competition open we'll have to disqualify your shot on a technical point - way too much artistic merit. It's a very nice shot! |

| You are too kind. But you're missing part of your formula, and that is the shutter speed, which I don't know how to find on the EXIF. |

| Shutter speed is called ExposureTime in the exif. Yours is given as 127/100 = 1.27 seconds. So the score is right - you don't need a tripod. |
