Has anyone tried or does anyone use Gimpshop?
Is it any good? A waste of time? Just a gimmick? |

I haven't used it, but it looks like the same product in a different dress to attract to Photoshop crowd.
I use Gimp for my editting and I think it's good, although I have not used PS etc to compare it against. However, the best price in the world is $000.00.

| It is the same product and it is a 'dress-up' for the GUI to make it appear like PS. |

Last I heard it's based around an old version of Gimp (2.2) where the latest is the 2.6 release line.
I personally don't see the need - the real thing works for me.
