Edit:
Not sure what happened, but refreshed the page and still at 7 votes, but score at 5.58 ???
Well now I'm relay back to normal and going bed (should have done this when I had 7+)

There should be no form of text/copyright on the image from post-processing....that is a DQ'able offense. But to see a brand name on the product may be a different story, dependent on the client. If you are taking a stock image for a product company, then yes...the product name is allowed. If, however, you are photographing for your run of the mill stock agency, then you are not allowed to show brand names unless you have a signed release form from the product company in question.

Not the start I was hoping for. My first vote was a 3 so i guess it is now going in the right direction. It may not be my best pic but it is not DNMC, not OOF, not blown out....etc. it is certainly not deserving of a 3. looks like the voters are going to be tough this week! |

If you were taking the image for a commercial use you would clone out the branding but as we are not allowed I for one would not mark down any image that contained
