is the 300d a fragile camera? does it survive a short fall or a light rain? |

I won't be testing the fragility. Knock on oak!
Rain~well we have a bit of that here in Oregon. I'm very careful with my camera and use an umbrella, plastic bag and even a tarp depending on what the situation is. I don't get it wet. I have seen a little Olympus that can get wet. It looks pretty cool but I don't know the model. |

no damage done there with the water
have used in -10deg weather for short periods -w no issues
i have never "" dropped a camera ;} - and dont plan too any time soon...

I have used mine in slight rain, no damge, tho I dont recommed it, and hard to keep water drops from lens. I did drop a different camera, and it has been 11wks getting repaired....ouch...not to metion I had to by the rebel to replace it in between : )

Ahhh, so that's how you do it! Gotta find me some Crisco and go out shooting... :) |
