Shooting a wedding yesterday on board the SS Great Britain, just going through some of the formals such as this...
and didn`t even see this coming - only 40 seconds (going by the times on the camera) after that first shot - really heavy hail. good fun though, made for a good fun shot.

nice shots - I'm sure they will remember the hail with a laugh, they look a happy couple
p.s. I like the fact you carried on shooting as the hail came down - a true pro :- ) |

That's a really special shot from the day.
Talking about not seeing things coming, I was so wrapped up following some Amur leopard cubs around the enclosure yesterday that I didn't see the mother come towards me and didn't hear the shouted warnings from everyone around me. The mother took a swipe at me through the cage, but fortunately didn't use her claws. The real bummer, though, is that nobody got a shot of it.

What a wonderful capture, Mark... that shot will be a unique remembrance for them. I love the candid nature of the shot. Truly very nice work! |

Sounds like me! I've been told a million times that I'll probably die by a large cat (most likely a lion) because I was photographing something else and not paying attention! Glad you didn't get hurt!
As for the wedding photos, the second one is great! nice work! |
