Like that. They sell you something for very cheap but it includes nothing; then they charge out the ass for dumb stuff like batteries and cables and what-have-you.
My question is this: I already have a D300. I have everything that I'd need to operate a D700. Are these sites legit enough that if I bought that D700, I'd actually receive a camera body? They're not just gonna take my money and run, right? I'm kinda considering it...

Jesus, run the other way!
When they find out that you have no intention of purchasing any over-priced "extras" they will find a hundred ways to never have the item in stock, or will keep stringing you along with "sure, it'll ship soon" or any of a dozen other sleazy tactics. |

If you ever do upgrade, I'd seriously be interested in your D300.
I'm saving for one now.

Balls. That's what I was afraid of.
NikonJeb, I'd only have sold if if I knew that site was going to for sure give me the D700 body that cheap. I don't have the rest of the means to buy a D700, so I gotta keep my D300 for a while. |

Steer well clear - as mentioned, if you refuse to buy the batteries, strap etc then you get a call back from them saying it is out of stock - if you point out to them it say in-stock on their website, you will more often than not get fobbed off and the phone put down on you..
Click Here to read reviews on their service, or lack of service, this is one company that goes under many names.. avoid like the plague.
