I was notified this weekend that I made it into the finals for the Blooming Beauties category of the Birds and Blooms Photo Contest. Birds and Blooms is a gardening type magazine that sponsors this contest each year. I had submitted a picture last summer, and I truly thought that nothing had come of it since I never heard anything. Imagine my surprise!!!! You can go to www.birdsandblooms.com to vote for your favorite picture in this category. Mine is #3 (the daylilly). Hope you like it.
