Today I discovered the small scrollwheel (adjusting shutterspeed) of my Canon 5D doesn't work anymore. I tried outting out the batteries and the CF-card but that didn't work.

Anyone who knows how to solve this?

Does it work to adjust aperture in Av? You need to find out if the wheel is physically not working, or if the *function* is not working...

No it doesn't work on any program. Not on Manual, AV or anything other.

Ok, this is weird. I used the scrollwheel from my battery-pack and now it works again.

Hm.

I was actually gonna suggest that. It's as if the power-pack wheel, when last removed, hangs it up right between contacts or something...

Definately a strange thing. Anyway, I'm happy it's solved, and now I know not to panic when it happens again :P
