Calling all Mac useres..
Since I upgraded the computer, I now have to consider new software for my Mac. I used to have CS2 and Elements 4.0 for windows, but would it be worth updating the CS2 or the Elements 4.0 to the Mac platform? Whichever I don't upgrade, I'll use on the old Windows box in the study.
What do most Mac users use? I also have iPhoto and Aperture, but I don't know how to use them very well and they really aren't as much editing programs as these are.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be MUCH appreciated.
CS2 cross platform upgrade = $221.86 (including tax)
Adobe 4.0 cross-platform upgrade = $69 plus tax and shipping (I'm liking this price.)

| If your using a Mac with graphics card (discrete graphics), the CS4 is able to utilize the GPU power. That just translated into more power and smoother performance. I found it to be rather worth it really. |

Mac upgrade? Is that one of those oxy-moron things? ;-)

Which Mac do you have?
I use CS4 on an iMac and it is fast, smooth running and performs quite well in my configuration. Much faster and smoother than CS3 was on XP. At least for me. |

Probably should clarify. I'm using the 15" MacBook Pro with the 4GB ram. Are you speaking of the "other" graphics card that is (supposedly) already inside and easy to switch to? (I don't know how, but I'll read the book.) With that, I should run CS4?
Oh, and Dave...pbbbt! LOL! Too funny...
