My dad has an old Konica-Minolta Camera with a few lens. Just wondering if there's some way of using them on my Canon 1000D Rebel? Is there a special connector that I could use or is that not possible to use old lenses on new digital cameras because one's a full frame and the other my digital SLR?

| Not sure if there is an adapter (try google) but I am pretty sure (like 99%) that you wouldn't be able to meter with those lenses, so I don't know if you would really want to use them. Good luck though! |

Not true...it depends. Sony Alpha and the KM DSLR's will work with older Minolta glass of the A mount type. Some adapters are available for certain older MD versions (and others, I think)...and you can also use the older universal (M42 screw mount) lenses with the correct adapter (these are available).
Need to do some homework to know for sure. Also, the model # of the Konica-Minolta SLR needs to be known.
Try Dyxum.com for some of these answers as well. Good luck.
