Is anyone else having problems after upgrading to the new version v3? It keeps crashing my photoshop (and usually before I can save what I'm doing). I'm using photoshop CS.

I'll let you know - I just bought it today and haven't downloaded the new version to install it yet... Maybe I should hold off on that new version??

I tried to install the the beta of v3 a few weeks ago and it kept giving me errors accepting the key code using it in PaintShop Pro 12. Under PSP 11 it worked fine and accepted the same passcode with no problem. I emailed the source and let him know. That's what beta tests are for.

I've used it with Photoshop 7 and have not had a problem yet. I know some people reported problems with CS2. Flickr Group

I am using it in CS3 and no problems at all so far, I'm happy to report. It's a big improvement as far as I'm concerned, in both the new interface and speed of processing.

Deb, you can still download it because it can be installed along side the other version. You can then use either version. It doesn't happen all the time, it's kind of random. The new version is soooo much better though, I've made comparisons between certain filters in both versions. Well, whatever it is, I hope they get the bugs out soon! I just wanted to make sure it wasn't only me.

Sweet interface! The old one looked budget to me. I like the preview pane on the left. Nice work Topaz. Best $40ish dollars spent on software.

Just installed it (and bought the package deal so I get to play with the watercolory one too!). I'll play with it in a bit and report back. Have to find dinner first! (And yes, yet another evening in which I have successfully avoided doing my taxes!)

I'm starting to notice a pattern with it, it crashes with certain filters. Crisp always crashes, vibrance about half the time. I've been saving alot when I'm using it, and sometimes just use the older version. Hopefully they'll come up with a solution quick.

I am having less problems with ver 3. The program allows one to make many different selections, I notice that optimum use of the program (less crashes regardless of version) is obtained by limiting the session, (mileage will vary depending on individual computer capabilities) - for example, if one's initial intent is to mask noise, create a layer and limit your work to that process. Enhance colour in some way - again limit the process, as it seems to work better if selections are brought into play in smaller increments.

It also seems to crash more if you use another program (in my case, Nik Silver Efex) on the same picture. I may go back to using the old one for a bit.

Mine crashes when I print via CS4. This crash only occurs if I had used the Topaz Adjust, and the layers have not been flattened. I now flatten and save before printing, previously I would flatten my print file once I was satisfied with the print. Flatten prevents the crash, but I have no idea why.

They're two different types of keys. Just send them an email asking for a key for 2.6, they'll send you one. You can have both versions running at once. |

We're expecting the Mac version later this month; it will be interesting to see if there are similar issues.
I run Windows on my Macs via Parallels and haven't had much trouble with Adjust 3, but need to stress test it more. PC users are reporting that updating video card drivers and such seems to help.

Still crashing on me with 3.1 quite regularly. Every picture, just about. I may try to see if I can narrow down what causes mine to crash but in the interim I've asked for a key for 2.6.
