I am printing from CS3, I crop my image using the 6 x 4 default, set the printer defaults to 6 x 4, borderless premium glossy paper (I am using Epson paper) but when I print the photo is cropped by about 5%?!?! It has printed to the edges fine and everything else about the print is perfect, but the image on the paper is not the same as whats in cs3.
I'm really confused and can't see why this is. I've updated the drivers from Epson but that has made no difference. I've tried clicking the "scale image" box in the print dialog which changes it from 100% to 99.99% but that makes no difference.
Any ideas?!?!? |

Are you using the borderless setting in the page set up on the printer driver? With the borderless setting it overprints about 5% so it will cover the entire area. So you will lose a little of the image area on the edges. If you're not using borderless, it will try to fit it on the page which could leave some white area on the edges.
To minimize the effect, you can add a little white space around the image, resize it back to 4x6 and try printing it. No matter what you will never get 100% of what you see in Photoshop on a borderless print.

| You can also set the bleed amount to be minimal. At least with other Epson printers you can do that. |
