Could be a change from the normal challenge to have photos that have been done with a grainy appearance for effect. I think it could be interesting to see what everyone comes up when trying to produce an image that is grainy.

I think taht would just be the december challenge, but with a noise layer.

I think OneSweetSin is talking about an artistic noise effect! I like the idea, it might get some people thinking a little more artistically and a little less all about technique.

And yes, there would be shots entered like the ones JonPink is referring to, but then we as voters can just vote them low :-)

Yes soup you got the idea. Grainy done right can make a photo look like something from an old newspaper or even one of those old family snapshots you find in the attic.
