...for free? I'm looking for a good FREE speech to text software to use while commenting on images. With my bad neck, back, and shoulder it makes it hard to vote on a lot of images and exceptionally hard to comment.

If I could find a program that would work in Firefox with good accuracy it would make voting and commenting much easier.

Anyone know of such a program?

BTW I have voted 100% in the 1000th challenge and comment on 79 photographs, my neck and arms are giving out....HELP! :)

my laptop came with nice software. it isnt excellent, and defineitly comes up with funny sh*t somtimes, but it works.

I have XP Home (Media Edition) I don't think my computer came with that software but I will look it up.

hmm and i have Vista. well im sure there is an equivilant. sorry im not much help

Windows Xp does have in and you need to add it through the Add Remove Programs selection and add windows components. You'll need to train the system to recognize your voice by reciting passages from stories etc. Once its done, its pretty slick as I've been using it for business letters for years now. Get a good USB headset and then "poof" you're a rock star.
