Congrats on the new toy. 5x zoom - not bad! Have you tested the top ISO yet? Does this have as good low-light ratings as the "legendary" Fuji compact from a year or so ago (sorry, I forgot the name).

I am still charging the battery. The shots I took I squeezed the last juice from the battery as it came. The high ISO looks good but the pics are mostly of my dinner and my sleepy daughter. No intention to post.

The legendary camera is F31d.

Looks like it handles the high ISO pretty well

I know its a compact P&S, but man that ISO1600 noise is hideous. Probably be OK for print, but not for viewing at 100% on t`internet.

I used it in M mode. Apparently the EXR mode is a huge difference with some un-understandable (for me) hardware and software algorithms . I will try it.
