These folks suddenly decided to make "courtesy" calls. The other day they called while I was in the O.R. at work so I let it go to voice mail. The message said it was VERY URGENT that I contact them. Well, by time I got out of work, I forgot all about calling them. Last night, I got called in to the O.R. during night shift as it was my call night. I did not get home and to bed until 2am, needing to get up 4 hours later so that I can go back to work for my day shift. These MORONS made another "courtesy call" to me at 4:00 in the morning - ruining the very little sleep I was going to be getting. I was so pissed when I found out the URGENT matter was simply a courtesy call to remind me that payment was due by the 15th.

I just had to share that and get over it before going to work. TY and you can return to your regular scheduled life now.

WOW if my bank called me at 4am I would most certainly be looking for an apology from someone high up, that's just stupid that they are calling that early in the am. Im going to stop there as Im very sick and very cranky ;)

Get the bank manager's home phone number and call him back on the matter at 3:30am.

LOL! I like this. Just call back to say thanks for the reminder. :-)

Why does anyone even give their home or cell phone to a bank or other commercial relationship. There are only 2 reasons a bank is going to call a customer - to sell you something or to dun you. I would suggest to anyone that if a bank insists on a phone number when you open an account that you give them your work phone number only.

Good grief. My guess would be that maybe the company is in New York, and they're not aware of these things called "Time Zones?" What idiots. I'd definitely do some complaining about that. It's not like it's even a late payment call or anything.

Our mortgage is through that place too but we've not received any calls like that. We are getting them from our cable company 7 days before the bill is even due!
