Interesting...
Maybe there's a Nikkor 10-18 f/4 that no one knows about either. |

Well, the NDA has expired so I can tell you about the new
Nikkor 85MM AF-S F1.2. Metal mount, fast coreless motor,
Nano-crystal coating, and 18 inch closest focus. Should sell
for about $8000US. Rumor has it that the first 25 are arriving
in Iceland as we text.

Do you mean $800 US (I hope!)?
Or there'll be one of those Hitler vids about the 8000 dollar 85 mm 1.2
:-) |

Iceland is about the LAST place in the world to be trying to sell an $8000 dollar lens right now... ;-)

Speaking of Iceland Bear, I saw an excellent Icelandic movie on cable last night. Called Mýrin ... English title Jar City. Anyone else seen that very absorbing movie? |

Let's not get off topic here, obviously, DPC is keeping secrets from us.

| That's why I tried the 'let's talk about movies' ploy. Didn't work, huh? |

Arriving in Iceland, that won't do any good. Everyone knows people in Iceland only buy Canon. |
