I have no idea what the Broncos are thinking, but they really screwed the pooch on this one. And now Marshall is in toruble... Looks like my fantasy football team is going to be horrible next year.

I gotta say the same thing about the Packers, So far we have come out on the sh*t end of the stick on two free agent deals we are going to lose alot of players if that jackass Ted Thompson doesnt figure out what he is doing pretty soon. Also agree about the Broncos, Sounds like they suffer from the same management moronisms.

Jay Cutler went to the pro-bowl after throwing for 4500 yards last year. He led a 2-14 team to 8-8. And some dude thinks it would be a bright idea to trade him.

Trading Jay Cutler would be a huge mistake (you just knew I was going to chime in on this didn't you?). However, both Cutler and Marshall need to grow up. Look at how many great qb's through the years have been traded, or talked about in trades. Montana, Elway, Farve........ the list goes on. The thing is Football is a business. So McDaniels wanted a familar face at QB, big deal, he didn't get it. Put it behind you a move on.

Marshall needs to lock himself away in the offseason, that guy has so much untapped talent its insane. They also need to stop calling him little T.O. Thats an insult to Marshall.

On a happier note- looks like T.O. might be headed for the Raiders. Just as it looked like Al Davis might be letting his coach handle things. I was starting to worry the Raiders might not self destruct.

Oh, don't worry. They will always find a way. :) T.O. is to Al like stink is to a fly.

Are you a fan GenE? Raider nation, that whole scene? Somehow I can't picture you with the eyepatch and scary suit. :P

I follow football, but way less avidly than in past decades, and I haven't had much use for the Raiders since they left for LA, and then came back and screwed up both our baseball park and local finances ... I've never been into the whole eyepatch/armor thing (at least concerning the Raiders).

At least the 'Niners seem like they're again trying to build a decent team -- I always remember how quickly Bill Walsh built the first championship team, with records of 2-14, 6-10, and 13-3 his first three years.

I've never liked the Raiders--have lots of friends who did/do. All the usual... "Winningnest team on Monday Night Football", blah, blah, blah. :)

I hope the niners are on the right path--Singletary seems like a good fit...

eta: The Raiders sure did screw up what was a decent baseball park. Go A's!

How did the Raiders not end up with T.O.????????? The NFL world is out of balance.
