I was tinkering around on ebay and I found this guys website. He does sell some things but he believes in free advice for beginners.

This link is really for anyone that wants a visual demo of how a camera works.

He shoots with a Canon 40D and a 50D so if you have this camera he does go into some details about how to operate the camera.
