Hope everyone had a safe and fun New Year's Eve. I'm curious to see how and where everyone celebrated, so please post your pics here. I was in Seattle at a club called Rebar. Where were you?

New Years was interesting to say the least. We were supposed to have 75-100 people over our house for a party that started at 8:00PM. My housemates had spent around $450 in food and alcohol. 9:00 rolls around and still no people, so I decide to go outside and get some air...
About a block down the street a house is on fire! Living in the city I didn't even think twice at the sound of sirens going past because fire/police go past all the time. The street was blocked off at both ends and no one was allowed in (even if they lived on the street), and traffic was backed up.
By the time the street was re-opened, the majority of the people had already went elsewhere. So, there ended up being about 10 people at the party. LAME LAME LAME!!!!!!!!!!
I did get a bunch of photos of the scene though! I walked down with my camera bag and tripod and no one even questioned me! I set up right in the middle of the street near the firetrucks and started taking photos. A few minutes later, news stations started showing up too. It was kind of funny because the anchor lady was moving out of my way and ducking under the camera when I was taking shots. I think they all thought I was with the press! lol. I'll post some of the shots later. |

pretty laid back new years eve at home.
sports was the theme this year...
you see hunting, yoga, referee, snow boarding, and soccer..
