I've taken the plunge and my Panasonic DMC FZ10 arrived today! So far I'm really happy with it, I did get to try one out for a few hours before Christmas. Here's one of my first shots, Hala.

Congrats on your new camera kavamama. There are several who frequent these forums that are heavily contemplaiting purchase of that model, me for one. Would love to hear your impressions after you have given it a thorough workout.

@coolhar: I spent hours and hours reading the panasonic forum on dpreview before deciding on this camera. That would be a great place to surf if you're interested in the opinions of people (unlike myself) who know what they're talking about! 8-)
@Tina: What a thrill opening up that package. We're having a nasty windy rainy day. I'll probably spend more time reading the manual than taking pix today.
