I've been borrowed/stolen from! Check and see if you have. They give credit, but the entire site is a complete copyright nightmare. I found out about this via the Alamy forums.

Check it out.

I've never had an image stolen ... what do you think that means? Oh dear, I think I know.

Mine are never stolen either. Ah well. One can only hope that some day....

They have an online form for copyright infringements

What's the issue on this one?? They point back to the source... and I cannot see a buy or anything for the images from them. Okay - they no doubt are getting ad revenue....

I see that one of the shots that ShutterPug had published by Hallmark Cards is there. Maybe she can get Hallmark to get their attention.

That's odd considering they knowingly copied 166 images from www.dpchallenge.com

...usage. And actually...not all images give credit. There was a big petition going around Pbase, which had well over 1000 images "borrowed". They have even borrowed images from Alamy.

Oh okay... I just could not see the issue - seemed like a way to generate traffic to your site. People will grab images anyway, at least this is pointing them to the source.

Okay... Let me go and download some music from a pop star for my slide-show now :-))

The images are also put up for others to use within the site. Usage is billable.
